Position: Part-Time Patient Care Coordinator
Location: Kona Integrative Health
Schedule: 1-2 days per week

We are in search of a compassionate, organized, and committed individual to fill the role of a Part-Time Patient Care Coordinator within our dynamic team. This vital position plays a key role in creating a positive and healing atmosphere for our patients, guaranteeing a seamless, supportive, and empowering experience throughout their journey with us.

Key Responsibilities:

• Serve as the first point of contact for our patients, providing warm, friendly, and efficient service.
• Schedule appointments and manage patient records through our electronic health system.
• Provide patients with information about our services and practitioners, helping them feel informed and at ease.
• Coordinate patient care by communicating effectively with providers and the team.
• Manage patient follow-ups and reminders to ensure a seamless care experience.
• Assist with billing and processing payments, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.
• Support the healthcare team with administrative tasks as needed to ensure a smooth operation.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent; further education in healthcare administration or relevant field is a plus.
• Previous experience in a healthcare setting or customer service role is highly desirable.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a keen ability to listen and empathize.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask effectively.
• Proficiency in using healthcare software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• A commitment to confidentiality and a high standard of ethics.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a diverse team.
• Flexibility in schedule, with availability to work 1-2 days per week. Additionally, we require a candidate who has the flexibility to fill in on a full-time basis during the fall, ensuring our clinic and patients' needs are continuously met during that period.
